A message about COVID-19

Our priority at Paradise is the health and safety of our team and guests.

Currently, the Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the public health risk associated with COVID-19 as low for Canada. We are monitoring the latest developments from the experts, and following their lead.

Canada's Chief Public Health Officer of Canada is in close contact with provincial and territorial Chief Medical Officers of Health to ensure that any cases of COVID-19 occurring in Canada continue to be rapidly identified and managed in order to protect the health of Canadians.

At Paradise, we are going above and beyond, learning from successful public health measures to make sure you can feel comfortable in the venue.

Across Paradise

Across all units, our credit card payment devices, POS terminals and scanning equipment are regularly sanitized. We have Purell publicly available in entryways and near washrooms throughout the building.

Paradise staff have access to Purell pumps throughout the venue, and at their workstations.

We require staff to frequently and thoroughly wash their hands, and to stay home if they feel ill. We ask our guests to do the same.

We also reinforce that any anti-Asian racism remains in violation of our Code of Conduct. Discrimination harms public health.

Paradise Theatre

In Paradise Theatre, we are disinfecting all surfaces that touch peoples' hands after every film and event. Our practise is to have guests display their personal smartphone for ticket scanning; our floor staff will no longer touch guests' phones to scan the barcode.

For all new events, we have adjusted our ground floor seating to General Admission (instead of Reserved), in order to allow people to seat themselves where they feel most comfortable in regards to others. We are also capping the ground floor capacity on those new events to 50%, to allow for social distancing.

To request a ticket swap for a future event, or a refund, please email boxoffice@paradiseonbloor.com.

Osteria Rialto and Bar Biltmore

In our restaurant Osteria Rialto and cocktail bar Bar Biltmore, we are disinfecting tables after every guest, and of course washing/sanitizing tableware.

Kitchen staff have all passed and abide by Food Safe regulations.

Here at Paradise, we're learning a lot from the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Toronto Star, who have taken their COVID-19-related coverage off the paywall.

We look forward to welcoming you to Paradise, and will always work to make sure we're keeping our guests safe!

Thank you,

The Paradise Team
