The Break-Up Diet

Play Trailer

The Break-Up Diet tells the story of a year in the life of Tamara Williamson as she undergoes a common but nevertheless relatable torturous episode in her life - the ruthlessly fast disintegration of her outwardly perfect marriage. Punctuated by raw guttural songs written by Williamson at the time of the events portrayed, the music is intense alternative rock performed live by Tamara and her band, Mrs. Torrance. The Break-Up Diet is real, raw, funny and terrifying.

Content Considerations: A screen displaying flashing words and imagery will be present behind the band and will flash intermittently for the duration of the show. The Break-Up Diet contains profanity.

Doors open at 5:00pm, show starts at 6:00pm

This is not musical theatre like you would expect. It’s raw and alternative. It sugar coats nothing.

It belongs with Nora Ephron's Heartburn as a great work of art about splitting up.
