Way Out West

Play Trailer

Laurel and Hardy’s recently restored spoof of the western genre is slapstick gold. The comedy duo play messengers entrusted to deliver a deed to a goldminer’s daughter, but unsurprisingly, things don’t go according to plan. Largely regarded as Laurel and Hardy’s finest feature, Way Out West is fondly remembered for the pair’s enchanting ‘soft shoe’ dance routine, reenacted by Steve Coogan and John C. Reily in the 2018 film Stan & Ollie.
