Wayne's World

Play Trailer

Mike Myers first conceived of Wayne Campbell in his teens, before performing him on CBC and later on the The Second City stage. But it wasn’t until he debuted the metalhead and his public access show, Wayne’s World, on SNL, alongside Dana Carvey’s nervous sidekick, Garth, that the character really took off. It then reached stratospheric popularity with this Penelope Spheeris-directed comedy. Packed with pop-culture references, memorable one-liners and iconic scenes, the film was a smash, spawning a sequel and launching Myers’ film career. Party on!
