PARADISE presents FUNNY FACE

THIS SEPTEMBER … You know that we are living in a material world, so let’s take a tour with the target demographic! The Paradise Presents: MATERIAL GIRLS- a cinematic exploration of consumerism through a feminine lens. Join us for nine glossy pictures, with distinctive forms of pop sensibilities, that satirize and comment on the world in which we live.

'S'WONDERFUL! 'SMARVELOUS! For our second feature, we are celebrating screen and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn, in one of her most stylish pictures. A marvelous musical production, complete with the music of George Gershwin and the costumes of Hubert de Givenchy and Edith Head. It's Stanley Donen's FUNNY FACE.

Dispatched on an assignment, New York City-based fashion photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire) is struck by the beauty of Jo Stockton (Audrey Hepburn), a shy bookstore employee he's photographed by accident, who he believes has the potential to become a successful model. He gets Jo to go with him to France, where he snaps more pictures of her against iconic Parisian backdrops. In the process, they fall for one another, only to find hurdles in their way.
