PARADISE THEATRE presents AT LONG LAST LOVE

AT LONG LAST LOVE (1975)

THIS APRIL- The Paradise is going back to basics with nine films that tell thee story of our founding decade: the drama, the depression, and the design. The Paradise Presents DIRTY DECO: an aesthetic journey through the 1930s. From subversive pre-code productions, to later works that recapture the sordid underbelly of the era from a contemporary political lens- all through the sheen of glorious art deco. Step back in time and join us in Paradise as we travel back to the dirty decade...

IT'S THE TOP! A NEW KIND OF MUSICAL WITH 16 GREAT SONGS! You're in for a treat on April 10th, when you join us for the late great Peter Bogdanovich's delightful tribute to the early musicals of Ernst Lubitsch. Set to the timeless tunes of Cole Porter, and featuring an all-star cast of Cybill Shepherd, Burt Reynolds, and Madeline Kahn- it's 1975's AT LONG LAST LOVE!

Four socialites unexpectedly clash: heiress Brooke Carter (Cybill Shepherd) runs into gambler Johnny Spanish (Duilio Del Prete) at the race track while playboy Michael O. Pritchard (Burt Reynolds) nearly runs into stage star Kitty O’Kelly (Madeline Kahn) with his car. Backstage at Kitty’s show, it turns out she and Brooke are old friends who attended public school together. The foursome do the town, accompanied by Brooke’s companion Elizabeth, who throws herself at Michael’s butler and chauffeur Rodney James.
