A small suburban town receives a visit from a castaway unfinished science experiment named Edward.

Untucked is back for the holiday season, just in time to help heal all the discomfort of spending time with family while trans. Join series curator and host Alice Rose for a one-night-only screening of Tim Burton’s masterpiece, Edward Scissorhands – a time-honoured holiday film about an unfinished young man who appears to have been built by the salvaged remains of The Cure‘s Robert Smith after a motorcycle accident. Taken under the wing of Peg (Dianne Weist), a well-meaning housewife/Avon lady, Edward is thrust into the pink pastel world of suburbia. Edward uses his sculpting talents to help him fit in, but he soon learns that, despite his kindness and good intentions, the real world is just too harsh for someone a little different. -ALICE ROSE
