Swaroop Elamon plays with time travel in the comedy short, Champion. Chris Gaudry creates a lush internal world for a janitor stuck in routine in Into the Void. A seemingly innocuous interview with an American customs officer becomes a site of relationship trouble for the couple in Shirley Yip’s Marriage Interview. Iranian airport customs become the stage of a moral dilemma in Tara Aghdashloo’s Empty Your Pockets. Rosie Choo Pidcock uses a young girl’s love of acting to explore grief in the charming Sorry For Your Cost and Yari, a young trans woman, experiences reality shifts as she tries to reach home in Emily Bendeck Garay’s world-bending Snakeskin.
