In all of his existences, KOBE KOTORO embarks on an everlasting odyssey through the home of his mind. A transformative journey in hopes to find understanding, identity & reflection. And if nothing else; the freedom to try again.

The Toronto premiere of Filipino-Persian artist & director, Keavan Yazdani’s first short film,‘A DIARY OF AN UNSTABLE MIND’at Paradise Theatre. Filmed in the Philippines, with post-production in Toronto, ‘A DIARY OF AN UNSTABLE MIND’is a love letter through reflection and reconnection to ancestry & culture. We aimed to visually contextualize our questions —are we spiralling? Or are we evolving?

Following the screening of the film, there will be a listening experience for the film mixtape-soundtrack, exploring the cultural roots of the film through reworked Filipino & Persian classics, along with original music from friends of the pamilya.
