Castle in the Sky

Play Trailer

The first feature from Studio Ghibli, Castle in the Sky is regularly cited as one of the greatest animated films of all time. It follows Sheeta, an orphan girl who embarks on a grand, perilous adventure encompassing air pirates, prophecies, magical amulets and a mystical floating island. The film exhibits many of the traits that make Hayao Miyazaki’s films so celebrated: epic in scope, rich in fantasy, an enchanting and engrossing story and, of course, the astonishing, unparalleled animation.
