CANNES DOGS is a roaming, DOG-FRIENDLY screening series and artbook by STUPID CO. Each event showcases the best and furriest new and cult feature films, while the zine highlights the pups on and off-the-stage in Cannes, in addition to legendary movie-dogs and dog-movies! Join us at the Paradise on November 1st for the theater’s first ever DOG-FRIENDLY screening event: CANNES DOGS TORONTO and the Toronto premiere of THE WOMAN WHO COULD READ THE MINDS OF DOGS featuring a Q&A with Director Michael Patten. 

Vicky, an aspiring dancer from Madrid, is working as an au pair for a New York City family. When rumors surface about a violent unhoused man roaming Prospect Park, she must confront these escalating threats while searching for the missing family dog. As she delves deeper into her search, Vicky’s journey becomes an exploration of belonging and resilience in a foreign land.

Every CANNES DOGS TORONTO ticket includes a copy of the zine, CANNES DOGS 2: THE POO EDITION, illustrated by Kyle Greenberg, plus the Toronto premiere of Stupid Co’s short film FRENCH LESSONS, new Stupid Co merchandise on sale and more still to-be-announced!
